Complete your backcountry kit with the Atomic Backland 95 Skis. Well rounded thanks to a 95 mm waist for softer conditions, yet super light on the skintrack, the Backland 95s hit a great balance of freeride fun and uphill capability. At the heart of these skis is an ultralight wood core with a full length carbon backbone that keeps the weight down without sacrificing downhill capability, even at speed. The Backland 95 also comes equipped with Atomic s across-the-ski rocker called HRZN Tech, improving float and tracking in soft or cruddy snow. Do you appreciate big objectives and savor the rip down? The Atomic Backland 95 Skis do too.

Rocker Type

All Mountain Rocker – 15% Tip Rocker / 85% Camber / Flat Tail

Shape

AT Tip 2.0 – A slim tip that cuts like a blade through chop and crud, and with a cut-out tip for fixing skins quickly.

HRZN Tech – Blends an ABS sidewall construction with a revolutionary across-the-ski (horizontal) rocker to add 10% more surface area. This delivers super enhanced flotation, less tip deflection and more efficient tracking through chop and crud, without adding any swing weight - making it the best design yet for powder.

Core

Ultra Light Woodcore – Incredibly lightweight Poplar and Caruba wood keeps Backland's weight down without compromising downhill performance.

Laminates

Carbon Backbone – An ultra-lightweight carbon insert that runs the length of the ski like a stabilizing backbone. This provides exceptional agility and edge hold with no extra weight.

Atomic Topsheets – Lightweight and highly resistant (made from 50% rapeseed oil).

Sidewalls

Full Sidewall – Runs across the full length of the ski for precise steering.

Base

Atomic Base – 7000-series sintered bases that are fast on any snow, can stand up to anything, and are easy to maintain.

Edges

Atomic Edges – Hardened steel for durability and perfect edge grip.

Binding Compatibility

We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width.
